Rivendell Partners scales team – Hires Steven Sun as MD, Shanghai
Rivendell Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of China private equity industry veteran, Steven Sun as Managing Director, Shanghai.
Based in Shanghai, Mr. Sun will drive the firm’s presence in China, through sourcing and managing investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Rivendell Partners, Mr. Sun worked in private equity in China with Ares Management and AIG. He brings over 13 years of experience in deal sourcing, formulation of investment strategy, portfolio management, and exits in China. This includes numerous transactions in the manufacturing, consumer, healthcare, financial services, retail, agriculture, and TMT sectors across the Mainland.
Mr. Sun trained as an accountant with KPMG in Shanghai, where he was a member of the Corporate Finance team. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and holds a BA of International Finance from Shanghai International Studies University. He is a native of Shanghai.
